The Making of a Shaman - Interview with Kathy Scheiern

In this episode, Kelle welcomes back Kathy Scheiern to Spirit Sherpa to share the story of her path into shamanic practice. Kathy tells us of her early experiences into the magickal world, pagan festivals, as well as publishing a practical magick magazine called Mezlim. We learn how Kathy used these early experiences, as well as her academic research through her PhD dissertation study regarding ritual, to build a very successful framework for transformational ritual practices. This show started as a beginner's guide to energy. magick, and the spirit world with a reminder that none of these work if you're not doing your inner work too. But then, a few months in, my friends started telling me how much they loved the show. Since all my friends were pretty advanced, I was floored. When I asked them why they were listening, they said that I was taking every 2 hour class they had ever taken and putting it into a larger context. So there's that.

Over time, the show has evolved from a beginner's foray into a wide variety of topics into a more intermediate level education and now, over 5 years later, we've evolved into an advanced discussion with shows around becoming a spiritual entrepreneur as well.
